Working a corporate job can be a useful tool if you know why you’re doing it. Most people don’t love their jobs. A job can be soul sucking and feel like a trap unless you have a strong reason why, for many that why can be saving a high proportion of your income so you can become financially independent and escape to a different lifestyle in a short amount of time. Ray Dalio – Principles

This book came highly recommended and for good reason. For those of you that are unfamiliar Ray Dalio is founder of Bridgewater associates one of the most successful hedge funds in history. Ray is also famous for his ‘radical openness’ a culture that he develops at Bridgewater.

This book, particularly the first half comes jam packed with insights that can be applied to your own life whether your in the financial industry, a trader or just looking for results.

Tony Robbins – Money, Master the Game

A comprehensive guide to the importance of compounding and passive investing with inside information from some of the best in the business. I personally read this cover to cover but the first half of the book has been done before. If you’ve already read books on the importance of passive investing maybe skip to the second half where Tony gives insights from hedge fund managers and most notably explains Ray Dalio’s all weather portfolio. An easy addition to our recommended reading whether your a beginner or a professional
